World Car Fans has an interesting render of 16 BMW's that lose their kidney grilles... (thru digital rendering).

Have a look for yourself. It's interesting how much this minor change, changes the entire look(face) of our beloved BMW's.

Please don't do this to me BMW. I can put up the the softness, the weight gain, the turbos, the M brand whoring itself, and the Audi like design trend for all models but PLEASE DON'T CHANGE THE GRILLS MAN!!!

The E89 Z4 was the last straw for me and the ultimate compromise. What is left of my brand loyalty is the name and the grills. You are just making it easier for me to switch and leave you. I really still want to stay loyal but I guess you've changed.

What are you talking about? Someone with some free time on their hands just photoshopped a bunch of pictures, no one is actually doing this.

LOL, f'rill. It's amazing how generic they look without kidney grills. Small subtleties go a long way.
