Side Mirror Question

I did a quick VIN check and it says I have
"S430A Interior/outside mirror with auto dip"


Does anyone one know if that means self-dimming? And if replacing, why is there a $300 difference between the OEM ( http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/part...&q=51167228612)

and some cheap imitations on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...A2P985UG1YLI2I)

And on eBay (I get they're from China but for $22, who cares? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Right-Side-...BYhrpG&vxp=mtr

Are the cheaper one's not compatible? Do they not work? Anything has to be better than the double-night vision I get from these pieces of junk. Just passenger side for now but looks like it might be happening on the drivers too. Thanks in advance!

Stop looking for cheap solutions.


Enter the last 7 digits of your vin on realoem and find the part number.

Look up does part number in ebay and u will find used mirrors.
