I must admit... Haven't been a fan of Rush. He settled in and made some impressive throws! Just think what a capable, veteran QB could do with all these weapons though?

packers lost a terrible game vs the saints and should have lost to the cards. Cards lost to the packers because their WR had no idea what he was doing. Bucs lost to Trevor simien. Bengals just lost to a backup qb. and the list goes on and on.

if you are going to discount the Cowboys, you have to discount every other team in the NFL for barely winning or losing games they shouldnt have. As they say, any given Sunday

How do Cowboy fans know what they have? Dallas might have the easiest schedule in all of football. And please don't use the tired line about haters. Questioning the lofty rating of some other fans favorite football team is not hating.

Look, this is coming from a Pats fan. Our team is not that great. We probably will not make the playoffs. The cowboys should have walked over us and their D should have done much better with our rookie QB. The D let Mac score 29 points and force the game to OT.

As said above their schedule is pretty damn easy. None of the eight teams the Cowboys host at AT&T Stadium were above .500 in 2020 for example. Dallas faces only three teams with a winning record from last season. This year’s opponents compiled a winning percentage of .452 for a strength of schedule that ranks No. 31. Only Philadelphia has it easier. Facts, not feelings.

The cowboys have not been to the playoffs in 2 years.

So yeah, I am saying I question how good they are. Your record does not equal the quality of your team, or we would not have playoffs and just a regular season.

we can look at who the Cowboys have played though this season.

Bucs - defending SB Champs who returned all 22 starters. lost by a last second fg

chargers - one of the top teams in the league

panthers - 3-0 and many people were touting their #1 ranked defense going in to the game and cowboys blew them out

giants and eagles - trash as always

vikes - also trash

pats - good team, better than their record, who also just beat the chargers.

Basing SOS off last season's records, when nearly every team has at least a few new starters in key positions, is always a dumb predictor before the season starts. its no different than the AP Top 25 poll in college. its never the same at the end of the season. Chargers, Bucs, Pats and Panthers are all potentially playoff teams. Chargers and Bucs are pretty solid picks for the playoffs, with Pats looking like they will sneak in the WC if they continue playing like they have been, and Panthers could if they get back to where they were earlier this season.

Listen, as I am sure you are an adult you know that just because someone says something you disagree with or don't like does not make them a Hater. It's a weak copout at best and you know this.

I intelligently explained with facts why the Cowboys have the 2nd easiest schedule in the league out of 32 teams which could lead to an inflated win/loss record. I am allowed to have AN OPINION on a game I watched both teams play against each other.

I stand by the fact that I BELIEVE the Cowboys should have done better against the Pats. I think the same of The Buccs, TB should have wiped the floor with us. It was way too close given their superbowl/season 'projections' and how everyone ranks the various teams.

Apparently sharing MY OPINION makes me a hater now? Wow. You must be fun to have conversations with in real life. I thought this section was to have a fun discussion about NFL teams? Anyone who has AN OPINION that is different from you is a hater? Pahlease.

The ELITE cowboys were a OT play away from losing to the Playoff Pretending Patriots. I stand by MY OPINION that I don't think the pats make the playoffs and a superbowl contender like the Cowboys should of walked all over them and not let the game go to OT in the 1st place. The Cowboys did not play like an Elite team against the Patriot Pretenders in MY OPINION.

As you know if a team is still in contention come December, anything can happen. Any team on any given year can just turn on a switch late in the season and take off. How many times have we’ve seen teams light it up Sept-Oct (Dallas’ Romo days) only to fold like a lawn chair at a Tompa Bay retirement home when it mattered the most?

Ever heard of some old Yankee player who wore #8? It ain’t over till it’s ovah. Ask the Falcons that and the 14 Seahawks. That chart above can easily be flipped through the first top 2-3 lines.

Yeah I realize that but I just think there's something off about the Chiefs this season, particularly Mahomes. Defenses are playing 2 deep and keeping a lot of their DBs in a position to prevent the deep balls. I just think teams have gotten smarter in terms of how they play them and everyone is paying attention. How many picks has he thrown so far this season? 10.
