I don't even think TB would get this call...with a big old two hands up flop at the end. i get it is his job to sell the foul but damn the ref's fucked up left and right.

Speaking of TB, he is officially retired! Too bad, he is still better than 75% of the QBs in the league by my estimation. I would have liked to see a few more years and a to put those records even father out of anyone else's reach. I can't imagine he is going to be happy doing anything but playing football. Commentary on Fox? "Hey Tom not how they did it back in your day eh?" sounds brutal. He would probably be more brutal of a coach than Belichick.
every qb gets that call, as well as probably 90% + of every other position. He was a yard of out bounds when he got shoved. every player knows you cant do that. Even Hilton, the other bengals defender on the sideline, knew it was gonna be a penalty.

It took me embarrassingly long to realize you weren't talking about Bradshaw.

Brady gets a lot of credit for Super Bowls that he played poorly in. I tried to like him but every time I watched one of his Super Bowls, the offense really struggled. It was a grind and the game was often won by his kicker with a lot of credit to his defense which kept him in the game while he couldn't score. The only time I ever saw him throw impressively, they had Moss and they choked an 18-0 start to a wildcard team that entered the playoffs with 10 wins.

Russell Wilson got the same kind of love when his play was average at best but his team's D and rushing game got them a lot of wins. QBs get credit and blame disproportionate to their actual performance.

When your QB's team wins, try to look at the actual stats. What led to that win. How well did your QB actually play and was he carried by the team. 7 TDs? Your QB is amazing. 2 TDs, 2 Ints, and the kicker wins it 17-14, your QB did everything he could to lose and the team he is on wasn't having it.

Big picture: The dude made it to 10 superbowls, winning 7 of them, and across 2 different teams. End of discussion. There are really talented QB's out there with solid rosters that will never make it to a superbowl let alone win one. My home team's QB is really talented and has great skill players to throw to but he will never take a team to a superbowl as he crumbles in the big moments. (Kirk Cousins)

I agree that QB's can get too much credit and blame considering what their actual performance looks like in a game, but Brady had to make several plays in huge moments across regular season games, playoffs and superbowls to allow the teams he was on to win 7 rings. And his team mates played harder and rose to the occasion knowing that they could trust Brady in those big moments.

brady only threw multiple ints in 1 superbowl. The superbowl he went for 328yds 4tds 2ints vs the seahawks in.

and really, his worst sb performance was vs the rams where he had 262yds 0tds 1int. You could argue the one vs the st louis rams too where he had 145yds 1td and 0ints as well.

hes got a career 65% completion, 3k+ yards 21tds 6ints with a 97.7 rating in his 10 superbowls.

his team has scored 30+ in 4 superbowls, another 2 where they scored 21+. You must have missed those superbowls.

He's a "casualty pickup". So if and when Mike's playcalling doesn't work, Brian will be first to go.

Both of those conference champ losses were pretty tough. Hopefully we get a superbowl that's not decided by injuries or dumb penalties.

While moore was good, he was predictable, relied on players to be perfect too much and did not have not great game flow. We hit our ceiling with Moore.

Coincidentally, Schottenheimer has been criticized for being too predicatable with his playcalling as well. With McCarthy calling plays, and Schotty basically there to run meetings/practices and implement his offensive scheme, hopefully we get his solid play design with better play calling.

If I was a betting man, id bet thats what mccarthy wanted initially with Moore and was told to let kellen run the offense. After this last season, where he called out game scripting and play calling from moore several times, McCarthy clearly told Jones he was calling plays this upcoming season. And id bet Moore was told, you can stay on with McCarthy calling plays, or you can go elsewhere, which is why hes in LA.

If McCarthy struggles with playcalling and the offense struggles, McCarthy is gone. This is a prove it year for him and he needs a good playoff run to stick around. Its his offense now.

Congrats to the Chiefs. Can’t wait till the fall as I gotta deal with my lousy Knicks and another Yankees postseason collapse against the Astros.

That was a gamble for sure, but it paid off. Near perfect clock management. Other teams need to watch that video and pick up some pointers.

Kudos to the Chiefs. Great watching such evenly matched teams bringing their A-games.
