5/5. This dude truly knows how to make good movies and cast the right actors.
Great movie, not typical Guy Ritchie though.

This might be good, I do enjoy the Brit's take on gangster films.

Yes, looks good. And I like Colin Farrell. He's good in most things.

Watching Prime Video’s “Air” right now. It’s free with Prime. It’s got Chris Rock. lol

Will let you guys know what I think.

“It’s Nike. Just get this shit over with.”

Edit: I meant Chris Tucker, not Chris Rock.

We watched it a few nights ago, it was pretty good but my wife was in a senior leadership roll with Nike for over a decade, so we have a view on the company.

Looks pretty epic, spotted Brendan Fraser in it too.

^ Murph, I gather that means your wife did not have a good experience with the company?

She had an excellent time working for Nike, loved the corporate culture and carried it forward to her next carrier. Nike was trying to recruit here to Portland near the end. There was some talk of a corporate security job for me to sweeten the pot. Just never worked it out.

I guess when you said "but my wife..." it made me think you were going to have a negative view of the company.

No worries, I kind of thought I wrote it in an awkward way.

my friend forced me to go with him even tho i promised i wouldn't...

as expected, i cannot tell the difference between this movie and the 5 that preceeded it... just mindless fighting for 2 hrs and somehow a guy that wrenches on cars gets blamed for setting off an explosion in a major city...

FAST X is largely forgettable and even the action scenes are getting stale because you know no one is in any real danger. There is no suspense in these scenes anymore.

However, Jason Momoa, who, from the trailers, I thought was too much, turned out to be the best thing about this movie. Only a villain as flamboyant as Dante could stand out in a movie filled with an seemingly limitless fleet of invincible Chargers. Does Dom have his Charger shipped to every single location they go to? I can't imagine they source a classic Charger and supercharge it on every continent they land on.

Jason Stratham was great too. Although I wish he had gotten into a 7 series instead of a McLaren as an easteregg. The movie pops when they are on-screen. Dom is an inhuman Superman in a tank now, he's totally uninteresting. The other characters are wasted with nothing really to do except

***SPOILERS****
Provide fodder to Dante's plans and seemingly die (year right, they're not dead).

Of all the action scenes, the street race, for me, was the best probably because it was the most grounded. No dropping from 500 feet in the air bullshit, just 4 cars trying to go as fast as they can, head-to-head. It was the closest we get to the first Fast and Furious movie we get.

As far as Brian, he is conspicuously missing and it's weird. My wish for the very final scene in the franchise is a simple street race in the streets of Los Angeles. Dom is retired from the superspy game, but he can never lose his instinct to drive, so here he is, they way it used to me, just racing for the sake of racing. Maybe the whole gang is there, maybe not. There is one driver, though, that we can't see. They are a mystery. The race starts, no music, no explosions, just a symphony of combustion and tires. The race ends and the winner is the one mysterious racer. He lowers his windows and it's Brian. Now that the danger is over, they can go back to how things should be. This should be the only time we see the late Paul Walker ever in the series again. They should use an outtake from a previously filmed FnF movie, no uncanny valley CGI.

This looks pretty good but Matt Damon does my head in as a dramatic actor, he is fine when subtle but when asked to get mad or whatever ..... looks way out of his comfort zone.
