Just bought an e60. Its missing a lot of pieces I dont know how to define
Hello. Can anyone help me identify the name of some parts
I need to order? I am definitely about have an aneurism. I've just got this car. The first time it rained it flooded... everywhere. Stripped the interior to bare metal frame. Removing probably 50 lbs of water The brain box under the hood was dry. But like 10 gallons of water was Trapped around it. I have no cluser. My headlights and taillights are playing some swipe swap game with bulbs. And I'm getting a cylinder 5 misfire [switched plugs and coils around. Still cylinder 5. But the wiendshield cowl is destroyed. Its missing the covers. Cross member pieces And a lot of other things. I cant find any reliable schematics or diagrams and I'm about to just break down And cry. Wish I could see a blown up parts diagram for the entire car. Starting at the hood Someone help please! |

Go to realoem.com and enter your VIN number. It will show you diagrams of what you have along with descriptions and part numbers.

As of now I have the entire interior put back together and I'm driving It. The only problem I am still having is the cluster is out and the headlights Are malfunctioning. I have new headlight assemblies coming in the mail. Then I'm going for a software update and to get some modules registered. Why do you think it could never be proper again? |

New valve cover. Idles perfectly in all conditions. I replaced some hoses. Oil filter adapter gaskets, 2 pulleys, the starter, battery, 2 control arms, I've put probably 50k on it in 9 months. Still currently running like a kitten. Drives like a champ. New headlight assemblies coming in the mail.
All the abs plastic on the interior had been repainted very nicely. Everything works. Mirrors, seats Right now I have no cluseter Lighting still swapped around even with the headlight assemblies unplugged from their harnesses. And I-drive is not populating all of the information but I can still check my oil and program my climate control. When I bought it the car was pretty cherry with no previous repairs and 90kmiles But with a new valve cover gasket and ran perfectly. |
