We are on standby. I've got all of my emergency response gear with me in case I'm deployed with the team. Sigh!

Soooo....

...A friend of mine - who knows better - netted herself a DUI this afternoon. She had two glasses of wine at lunch and TC'd into a patrol car. SFST's were performed and she blew a .18. She was subsequently arrested. She had the officer text me. At first I thought I was talking to her, but later realized I was talking to the officer. Here's a portion of the text exchange (...it loaded out of order; the middle text is 1st, the first text is 2nd and the third text is 3rd):

No, this just happened today. Totally out of left field and involving somebody who I figured had more sense. This is going to cost her. Orange County is pretty strict with their DUI punishments.

Well each squad has a Sgt. then about 25 deputies or so that includes the SET and POP teams.

Well majority are from SET (8) and POP (6) then at least 10 patrol deps. Each station has the same amount here in RIVCO.

We had 1 Sgt. for 8 Constables, right across the city. The smallest platoon I worked on in Toronto was about 15 PC's and the largest was about 50 PC's, every platoon also had CRU and CIB as well. At my biggest station that would add another 20 or so PC's.
