545i Radiator fan wont shut off

I have a e61 545i with one very annoying problem, the radiator fan wont shut off. Only way to shut it off is to turn off the car. So every time i start the car it sounds like a Saab Gripen (jet plane) is taking off in my garage. My best guess is that there is some resistor or something similar that's broken. So if anyone could help me get a hold of schematics for the radiator fan. I would be forever grateful.

Worth noting is I have tried jerking around the climate control panel but nothing changes.
