Online Poker Sites

I've been looking through pokerlistings.com and I still can't decide on which site is better..
I'm looking to play around with a little money since my friends don't want to play poker more than once a week..
Which site do you like the most??

My friend prefers it as well, but I figured I would get a couple more opinions first.

EDIT: After reading through the detailed reviews, I would say that fulltilt seems to be the more clean looking of the bunch.

Isn't it illegal to play in the US? Or just to deposit or something?

heh.. I don't think anyone in the US can answer this question correctly.. Not even the law makers.
It all depends on the state I guess.. and why would a state such as mine ban the playing of a game named after itself.

Since it is possible to label poker as a game of skill, it isn't considered betting so the law doesn't apply. The "prize" being the cash gathered at the beginning of the game that was exchanged for chips. Thus no betting/gambling/wagering is actually going on since people are playing with plastic chips that aren't worth anything. (Woops, kind of started talking about IRL poker.. It should apply to online as well)

I assume that your home/the internet is a private place.

i have cashed out over 20k in the last 2 years on full tilt and pokerstars. and to be honest, that means i suck. for the time i've put in, it unfortunately isn't worth th emoney. but i have come awfully close to really hitting it big, but the cards just didn't fall right. so goes the life of a tournament player. months of losing, a few days of winning bundles of cash.
