BMW parts bought in EU but not available in NA warranty issues?

Not quite sure where to post this so mods please feel to move if needed.

I am sure that many of us have bought BMW parts that are only available in the EU and brought back to the States. I recently did that with a heads up display kit.

Unfortunately, the damn thing has never worked right (the speed and engine info gets displayed intermittently). My local BMW dealer did the install and can not figure out the issue - the CAN probably has an issue. The part is not available in the USA (though some third party dealers have it like ECS Tuning)

As such, it needs to be dealt with by BMW EU. I have started some inquires with the third party dealer I bought it through and this BMW contact link. (https://www.bmw.com/en/footer/metana...n/contact.html).

But in the mean time I would greatly appreciate any wisdom from the group. Thanks.
