We attend the lovely Weyermann Malzfabrik classic car show

The show was held on the factory grounds of Weyermann, a beer malt maker. Actually in typical German fashion their full name is: Malzfabrik Mich. Weyermann® GmbH & Co. KG. Weyermann makes the malts that beer breweries used to make various flavored beers. They make one of the main ingredients for making beer. And they are at the top of their game. Sold in over 130 countries, their product is a household name in the beer industry. One of the “small’ brewers in the states uses their malts. You might have heard of Sam Adams.  Anyways… here is a look at their annual classic (oldtimer treffen) car show held every first Tuesday of July. This show is a must attend for me. The Weyermann classic car show is one of my favorites of the year. It's held on the grounds of a factory that produces malts for making beer. They also make their own beer and bread here too. Cool! IF you do really come to the car show in Bamberg... it starts around 16:30 and ends at 19:00. That's the weird thing about German car shows(over here)... no one stays there very long. So you only have like two or three hours and than the show is over. Last year I decided to eat at the Weyermann car show and have a beer.... big mistake bc the lines were long and I missed seeing all the cool rare old cars. By the time I got served my wurst and bier... the show was starting to break up for the evening. I would suggest to head up the "hill" to one of Bamberg's great beer gardens like either the Wilde Rose Bier Keller or the Spezial Keller. Both are close by each other and are about a ten minute car drive from where the car show is held. Also both kellers also have a 2nd location downtown with a restaurant and hotel.
