Holy hell, that is ridiculous. The shift in price solely due to how "hot" of a model it is right now is crazy. That will likely drop back down in the future when a different style is the cooler one to have.

thats the going rate for these limited new releases. if you want one, and dont want to wait years on a wait list, if you can even get on one, then you have to pay the premiums.

I am on a list for a few models. My guy said that their store does not do the "market rate" adjustment, but they also do not sell highly sought models to people who aren't known customers who plan to keep the piece rather than resell it. Who knows, maybe in a few years I'll get a call
