When you make a car like this for the general population, give it a warranty and encourage people to drag race it, you better beef that shit up so it can handle ANY scenario. They got lazy with that rear end.

Most all of those cars have been modified for even more power, using drag slicks and probably traction additives. -- At least Dodge doesn't have timing slipping on stock engines causing 20k engines to be destroyed.

My wife thought she wanted a Hellcat or a SRT. I showed her the m4 and she made the better choice. I am no fanboy of either brand. The only car I've ever had Lemon Law was our prior BMW. Yet it was the best car. Also had a company car base Hemi Charger that absolutely took a beating for about 60,000 miles with no issues.

too many horsepower + too much traction takes out the weakest part of the system in the end.. for me its better than engine problems.. they can make a recall then no problem.. didnt watch the whole vid but probably almost all of them are tuned cars..

You can clearly see larger drag slicks. I would bet $ that most of the cars have been tuned, supercharger pully upgrades, and other power adding mods. Video also highlights that this is happening on tracks with prep compounds sprayed on them.

Read the comments on the video- they know the cars in the videos. Some of them are reported at having over 100 passes and with mods capable of 9 seconds 1/4 mile times.

I don't think the fact that the car is 4300lbs helps much as far as the strain on the rear end to get that weight moving.
