The new guy.
Hello folks,
This will be my first post ever and I am pleased to be a part of this network as this is also my first BMW I've owned, and I welcome any tips, suggestions you may have for me to enjoy this ride for a long time to come. I first picked up my 335d LCI e90 back in October last year. At the time, I was just so appreciative to just own a BMW. Then I figured I give myself a birthday gift this past March so I brought my car into get fitted with HR sport springs and a set of new kicks care of Velgen Wheels VMB5's on Michellin Pilot SS. Being a gym rat, and admittedly a little bit of a meat head, I feel the car now fits my personality...Aggresive. Pictures to follow shortly. |

Dark rims look good with the silver body....welcome and get off the hamster wheel and get outdoors some ya meathead....the polluted air will help with disease resistance and much more solid immune function....well once your body gets used to the pollutants lol.....and not to mention you get a daily dose of vitamin D

wheels look great and the drop is perfect! id recommend painted reflectors for sure. And tint would bring it all together!

I don't know why, but I think it's unique. I've seen a lot of people wrap their roofs on sedans and coupes to try and mimic the look of a panoramic roof, but I don't think I've seen anyone wrap a convertible hard top. Personally I like it, but you have to keep in mind that its all about individual expression and not everyone is going like what we like. And those people can go fly a kite. LOL. Just kidding. , Heck, some people still like big chrome wheels and spinners...all the power to them as long as its making them happy and it shouldn't matter that i think their car looks like a skateboard.

Front: 19x9.0 35 offset on 235/35/19
Rear: 19x10.5 45 offset on 275/30/19 I had 4 people in the car and no rub issues. I think the 45 offset makes all the difference. Initially thought the previous owner had the fenders rolled, but I was told all BMWs come with the fenders already tucked in. So this set up should work for all e90/e92s including LCI. |

I agree the tint would give it a more sinister look but it will have to wait. Dude, before I got this car, I was driving an old GOLD, yes GOLD Camry for 7 long F&$@" years. Great car, tough as nails, but ugly as sin. I actually want people to see me driving in the BMW for a little while to re-establish some cred. |
