ITT: We post TV shows worth watching.
I like getting my shows from torrents to watch when I'm eating.
Please post shows that are worth watching and a brief description of it, why it's good, etc. Spartacus: Blood and Sand - So fucking EPIC. I love this show so much. Very addicting. Gladiators, blood, titties, it's amazing. Get it here Indian Food Made Easy - Lady shows you how to make a variety of Indian food. She goes to different restaurants into the kitchens and stuff. I love Indian food so this is interesting to me. She definitely makes things easy, and all of the recipes are online. Get it here or here. Dual Survival - Two guys who don't know each other have to survive in the wild together. Pretty cool and interesting. Stream here or Download here Gordon's Great Escape - Gordon Ramsay travels through India learning about all of the different sub cultures and their food. I love watching him also because of his humor. Download here The Incredible Human Journey - shows where humans first came from and then how we were able to travel to all of the other continents. Very interesting...loved that show. Download here The Universe - (Mind=blown) Cool series, learn a lot of cool and crazy **** about the universe, I know misc loves this kind of stuff, I do too. Download link only has season 1, but there are up to 4 seasons out I think. Download here Blood, Sweat, and Takeaways - This is just one season, the other seasons are Blood, Sweat, and Luxuries, and Blood, Sweat, and T-Shirts. These shows are great. They take spoiled Brits and take them to really beaten down, poverty stricken places in the world and make them work there and live there off of the money they earn. Probably my favorite shows out of all listed here. I highly recommend watching this. Download all 3 seasons here Jamie Does - Another great show by Jamie Oliver. He travels to different parts of the world, learns about their food, shares about the culture, and does some epic cooking. Download here |

If you liked 300 or Gladiator you will surely like Spartacus. It was so good I finished it in just a few days...wish I would've had more willpower hah.

FX has really put out some great series lately, so most of what I watch is from them. A few gems on other networks too. For the most part, the traditional "Big 3" have done nothing but put out crap, crap and more crap.
In no particular order: Burn Notice Deadliest Catch Archer Sons of Anarchy Justified Jury is still out on: Royal Pains Covert Affairs

CSI NY... that show is awesome... well probably because I live in NY and know where a lot of the places are, but the show itself has a lot of murder and mystery to it. I think it's a great show.

I've been DVRing It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia reruns on Comedy Central and they're pretty hilarious (IMO - I can see how it might not be everyone's thing). It's about dysfunctional family/friends that have a bar in Phily and basically are pretty stupid people leading to weird situations. Hilarity ensues.
Other favorites are: Wheeler Dealers (HD Theater): English show, Mike buys modern classics (Mk1 GTI, Porsche 924, BMW E30) and his mechanic shows you how he fixes them up (not in enough detail to perform the work yourself for the first time however) and Mike sells the cars at the end of the series (2 episodes per car) Giant Ships (or something like that, also on HD Theater): All about really big ships, how the crews work, who owns the ships and what company commissions them. For example a really cool one was about an oil tanker converted to diamond dredger off the coast of Africa commissioned by Debeers. The narrator does take getting used to, however. The Universe (History Channel): Really awesome show breaking down various astronomical concepts and entities, like stars, the moon, solar systems, galaxies, searching for life on alien planets, what the world would be like without the moon, etc. They also have some pretty good astronomer-contributers, and surprisingly a fair amount of the female astronomer contributers are decently hot for scientist-types Last edited by BTM; 07-28-2010 at 03:07 PM.. Right now, Warehouse 13, Eureka, Leverage and Pawn Stars are my go to shows. Fringe is also awesome, and I really liked the first season of Human Target. Of all shows listed, Human Target was the campiest, but the last episode really left a lot of room for growth.
