Oof, only 7? I think I got mine when I turned 60. I'll have to keep that in mind.

Thanks for posting that link, Esteban - very informative.

The CDC page says that "Starting in 2023, people with Medicare Part D coverage will pay nothing out-of-pocket for the Shingrix vaccine."

Fortunately here, and thanks to the wife, who set up our Medicare coverage many years ago, we have Part D coverage. I get lost anytime I try to understand Medicare (note to self: buy a Dummies book, dummy! )

Can some of you remember the lyrics? Released in November 1953 and performed by 10 year old Gayla Peevey who is now 80.

*Caution*: Possible ear worm.

How could I forget? The local radio station that plays Christmas music from Thanksgiving to New Years plays it 20 times a day!!!

Now you've got me singing it.... "No rhinoceroses" ... get out of my head!

I remember being surprised that the Stones allowed Micro$oft to use Start Me Up to promote Windows 95. Think about that. If you heard Start Me Up on the radio tomorrow, you wouldn't think anything of it. Just a good old Stones song. But if you had to deal with a computer running Windows 95...Ack!

Got this just now.

I actually just bought tickets to Chicago and Earth, Wind, and Fire here in Chicago for July next year. I’m pretty excited! This will definitely put me in the old folks category. I think the only other “popular” music concert I’ve been to is John Denver either right before or after I was a teenager.

They use 3/4 watts each. We put them in spare bedrooms, halls, laundry room, garage, bathrooms, walk in closets, front and back porch, kitchen.

They are not bright like obnoxious night lights. Just enough soft light to see where you are going and most importantly, stay oriented. Best $20 you can spend. Give it a try.

Younger lawn campers, you may try it too!
I’m in a one bedroom apartment/condo so I got fewer than 20.

We still have a working OS/2 Warp machine. I need to fire it up someday and get a pic.

My employer had a very tight relationship with IBM at the time when the IBM PS/2 launched, and we had pre-beta V1.0 access to OS/2. So pre-beta that it didn't even have a working UI for even simple tasks.

Microsoft was in charge of OS/2 development at the time, and kept stringing IBM along with delays until their own comparable solution (Windows NT - Nice Try) was finished enough to release.

I still have an OS/2 Warp promotional mouse pad in one of the storage boxes from when I had to pack my office during COVID lockdown that I should look for one of these days.....
