Question Best place to golf or paintball near NYC

So I'm organizing a bachelor party for my buddy in late August or early September. The night stuff in NYC is easy but I'm trying to nail down the daytime event(s). I am leaning toward either paintball or golf in the afternoon. Anyone have any suggestions on places to go? I am moving down there from CT in a week so I am not really savvy on the best places. Any suggestions/links are appreciated.

are you talking about a golf course? or a driving rang? because playing at a decent golf course is going to cost a crap load depending on how many people are playing or it could be a public one but there pretty crappy to being with..

Golf course. A driving range would be a pretty sub-par experience for a bachelor party. We are all young professionals so spending a little green for a good day of golf is not a problem. Anything under $100 total/person for greens fees + cart is fine.

in that case i think personally think golfing would be fun, but i'd play 9 holes playing 18 holes gets exhausting for me at least

Naah...18 is the only way to go on a Saturday. I only play 9 on weekdays when that is all that the sun will allow. Since we will be boozin' it up, we will definitely be using carts too. That definitely helps with the fatigue factor.

Golfnyc.com has a few public courses listed that are a reasonable distance. Anyone know anything about any of them?

Forest Park
Douglaston
Kissena
Van Cortlandt
