Apple use "Space Gray" for their new iphone !

Today was the presentation of the new iPhone 5s and 5c, well the 5s use the color name "space gray". I though it was trade marked to BMW !

I saw that too. Didn't think much of it though. I don't think you could trademark such a color as it's not all that unique. Also since both companies are in different industries, it wouldn't be considered copyright infringement even if it is trademarked.

It was "slate gray" for the iPhone 5, now they renamed the color "space gray" for the iPhone 5s. It appears, from reviews, that it's not the same gray.
