CAS reset

Hi Guys,

I’m trying to reset my CAS module and have a few questions if anyone could please help.

1. What’s the best software to do the reset?

2. What cable do I need for 2008 530D ?

3. Do I need a power supply connected to the car while resetting the CAS? Or can I connect the car to another car using some jump leads while resetting CAS ?

Been reading up on this topic but there’s a lot of information out there and can’t figure out what type of cable I need and what the best software to do this is?
