Nav DVD

I just bought a 2008 535i that is missing the nav dvd. It looks like there are options online instead of buying from the dealer. Has anyone done this? Success or not? How did you know which dvd?

Why don't you ask the salesman to give you one of the CDs?

I downloaded and copy to a dvd.

I think is 2015.

I still have the files.

I got mine off of eBay fairly cheap. If I recall correctly you have to know what firmware version your vehicle system has to determine what DVD version will work.

I didn't check anything before downloading does files and it's working fine.

Thank you, its downloading now. From what I read, its a DVD+R that I need to burn, is that correct?

That controller looks good, can you replace just the controller without switching to CIC? How much is involved?

I have ccc as u can see, u will need to buy cic trim, controller and controller mount.

Update 1 module and done.

Since u from NY i can help u, if u want to go that route.

I will with u the DVD info in a few.

After the controller module gets updated controller will work like is suppose to, zbe module will show up
With different vin no big deal.

I try to updated the new controller with my vin and ended up locking the controller, not sure if the voltage low.

2 different dvds, 4.7gb is not enough space.
