Asshole BMW driver

So today I was at Walmart and some guys in some mustangs come up to me and ask me about my car. I told them what ever they wanted to hear all blah blah blah and I ask them about their mustangs because I own one also. So one of the guys ask me if he could drive and of course I said no. I mean I don't know these guys at all. So I went from cool conversation to i'm an asshole. So of course I got into my car and left. Do you guys ever get the "can I drive your car people?" If you said no were you called an asshole?

I mean don't get me wrong i'm no way arrogant or anything like that. I just don't let people I don't know drive my car. Especially some young teenagers.

WTF? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. It's like "listen, I know we just met but can I drive your car??" I would be like "hey listen. I know we just met but can I screw your gf?? no?? then stfu!!" People should know better than to ask to drive others' cars. Some of my friends are afraid to drive it even when I offered it to them (like when they say I wonder how it drives).
