e60 530i n52b30/m54b30 fuel pump difference?

Hello all, I had a squiz through the forum and could not find an answer to what I am looking for and was hoping some one on here could either point me in the right direction on the forum or help me out with their knowledge.

I have a 09/2005 e60 530i n52 and I am pretty sure the fuel pump is knackered.

I live in South Australia and finding a replacement is a real pain in the butt.

I was wondering if some one knew the difference between the m54b30 fuel pump and the n52b30 fuel pump in the e60.

I seem to be able to find plenty of fuel pumps everywhere for the m54 however, the n52 pumps are hard to find and a heck of a lot more expensive for some reason?

What are the differences in pumps please if anyone knows? I had a look and the pump and plastic surround looks the same to me?

Can i replace the pump with one from a m54b30?
