I use Avast, it's free, lightweight, and regularly updated. Short of getting Norton professional/corporate (which is many fold better than the personal version) its your best bet.
It plays nicely with Win7 as I've had it running on my Win7RTM machine for the past few months. |

I'm currently using Avast with my Win7 RC as well, although I've always been a fan of Kaspersky. It consistently ranks amongst the best of the anti-virus programs on the market. NOD32 is a good one as well, and is light on resources.
I have not used the new Nortons, although they were supposedly rebuilt from scratch about a year ago, so the new one is supposed to be quite powerful, and very fast. Any Norton version older than a couple years ago was bloated crap, although it likely won't run under Win7 anyways.

I run a mac myself, but on my windows xp partition I use a corporate version of norton... very good... If it's good enough for government work, it's good enough for me... until I find something better, that's free...

Windows Live OneCare works flawlessly as I also have Win. 7. The OneCare is free for 90 days & will still work without updates after the 90 day period.
I haven't had a single problem with it. |

Macs can be hacked much faster than Windows can you know. Not to mention Macs suck to use.
