Just got done running the fastest 5k since my late 20s, :28 faster than just a month ago

Best thing about life right now is being comfortable enough to share funds with kids and not REALLY worry about it. One nephew came by yesterday and threw my wife under the bus. Had no idea "We" lent the family money to defend him on a total BS charge of carrying a concealed weapon. He LIVES 3 blocks from a school and they pulled him over transporting from campground to home

You didn't have press-gangs trying to get you on a ship to the far east? Boy you had it easy.

Down here it was uphill both ways, through the alligator and snake infested bayou AND a storm as big as Katrina hit every other day. Don't even bring up mosquitos. They have their own Air Traffic Controllers.

Due to a stupid beard trimmer mistake once, I had to shave off my goatee and mustache. First time in many, many years. The first words out of Wifey's mouth when she saw me were, "Start growing it back now!"

There's a bunch of stuff on another forum from long ago. I really pulled back on sharing and think before I type. I am so glad I'm old and social media didn't exist when I was growing up.
