GNC Files for Bankruptcy

I'm actually surprised this hadn't happened sooner?

I have not set foot inside a GNC since at least a decade. There are far better and much less expensive options for more and other brands of supplements. I also noticed that they were moving to push their own brand of supplements which probably didn't help.

I absolutely agree. And have heard from my own doctors about limiting supplements and instead getti g them from foods. There was a time wben I had a cabinet full of shit. But I wised up and now limit myself to Protein a multi vitamin, garlic and fish oil.

Protein, creatine and caffeine are the only supplements that I take, but I do like GNC's Samoa flavored whey protein and LIT AF Sour Gummy Worm pre-workout.

Magnesium, MSM, collagen are my 3. I'd walk into a GNC if I was close and needed something "generic" like that.

When my wife requests that I had her some of her gummy multis, I pour 2 handfuls because they taste good.

Tru! Over priced to say the least. I spent way too much in there. No more jelly worm pre workout anymore. Back to more coffee and pop rocks!

I shopped at GNC in the 90s, switched to Vitamin Shoppe later on and now solely rely on Amazon. The selection, prices (including 5% back with CC), and almost instantaneous delivery are the reason why all of these specialty health stores will soon go the way of the dodo. Bezos' current $200B net worth will only increase.

everytime i walked into GNC i always felt like i was getting ripped off. always having to renew my membership when i need shit. so glad i order everything online. don't have to listen to the meat head tell me his opinion on what he thinks is best and clearly doesn't know not everything works with everyone
