I actually wanted Dallas to sign Cam and allow for a QB competition or at least have him as a worthy bavkup.

I never was a big Cam fan but he should do just fine. The interesting plot on all this is how he deals with coach B. Hope he listens. He might "stub" his other toe and be done for good. Who knows... Superbowl??

Much happier with Bridgewater in Carolina. If he can stay healthy, the Panthers might get back on track. Cam was a little too much of a Cam fan for his own good.

Lifelong Cowboys fan here. Dak is THE guy. There's a reason Cam Newton struggled to find a market after being released and had ONE contract offer.

Patriots can definitely rebuild around Newton, but his injury history is a worry coming off shoulder surgery!

I have never been a Cam fan, his brief stay at Florida and then Auburn was the highest bidder. His post about “tired of being humble” is typical Cam so I will be rooting for Jarrett.

He'll make a great scrimmage quarterback to help tune the defense.

Patriots will use him well. They made a great run with Brady last season, why not with Cam. I am not even a NE fan just a fan of the NFL. Hope we have a season to see how it works out!

Doesn't the 1 year deal motivate him? Bust you ass, perform and get to the playoffs, and next year you are worth much much more? Assuming injury free of course.
