Butter tarts ? That really sucks ! And it sounds , looks and tastes (too) cheap as well..Are you poor my friend ?
You should try at least *Belgian Javanais* with strong Belgian Jacqmotte dessert coffee !
Then we can talk further...

Note: I just finished my Javanais !

No, you numbskulls, think of it like pecan pie, only in a much smaller shell, and it doesn't have pecans in it unless you get a pecan butter tart. But a lot of them are different flavours, like cocoa, skor, raisin, chocolate mint, etc.

But I am poor Belgie. Could you e-transfer some money to me so I can purchase better food. Am hungry.

Like always I have a solution for you ...
You should do the same thing as I , first... work your ass off for 15 + years and than buy the damn Belgian Javanais .
Note : In the past I was poor 2 , but after 15 years of hard working I can buy Belgian Javanais everyday !
Now....I mean today I'm a selfmade (super) man , and that with or without Javanais !

But your words make me believe you're a beggar..And not a worker !
Actually it's like...*NO PAIN NO GAIN*

There's an old saying that beggars can't be choosers. If I choose to beg though, am I still a beggar then?

I've heard the best javanais are in molenbeek. You should frequent that city often.

I have also a hard time to choose . Because my zodiac sign is scale . But actually I don't believe in zodiac BS . But so be it..
Here we share something !

I walked through Molenbeek (during the night) because I'm afraid of no one , and because a friend said to me..You dare not ! Actually I thought I was in *Marrakech*...Nowhere you will find Javanais in Molenbeek . But Kebab is everywhere !

A soup of pork and hominy, of Mexican origins. I myself prefer the "white/clear" broth my wife and her family makes. Most make it with a red/tomato broth.

Typically, I put cabbage, cilantro, and lemon or lime in the bottom of the bowl first. Then ladle in some soup, and top with a spicy salsa.

It's similar to menudo (can't eat that stuff) but has pork shoulder instead of tripe as the meat.

menudo is good if its cooked well and seasoned well.
I usually cook it in pressure pot with lil bit of salt.
on separate pot get the onions, tomatoes, ciltantro whatever ingredients you like cooking. when tribe is soft and tender, add it to the stew. Cook it for 10-15 minutes with stew. then nom nom!

mexican food is delicious but very spicy lol

I can get little sips of the broth down, but I just can't bring myself to eat the tripe. There are just parts of a cow you aren't supposed to eat. Lengua, cabeza- ain't going to happen.

It's a bit of a joke: "Honey, we can afford to buy the good parts of the cow now" Granted, using the tail of the ox makes a great flavored broth, but there are FAR better tails to be chewing. So cook the tail all night, then in the morning add some chunky stew meat, and we can all just get along and get some tequila
