Moving Violation?

Not stopping for a pedestrian, is that a moving violation? She was still on the sidewalk and pressing the light button and I had the green light, wtf.

$200. F$cking dumb popos have nothing to do so he bust me just because I'm "asian". I've had these racist white cops situations before so I can say they're racist, around my area anyways.

Do I take this to a lawyer? Oh and he said I didn't give him my correct address(when I handed him the license and reg he left immediately, didn't get a chance to tell him) and no seat belt(had to unbelt to get my wallet) $70. He looked like his wife and kids just left him.

Looks like you deserved the ticket man -- first thing you're making excuses and talking shit ... he didn't give you a ticket because you were asian, he gave you a ticket because you did something wrong.

What does his wife and kids have to do with the situation? -- sounds like you need a reality check man.

THE LADY WAS PRESSING THE LIGHT button on the light pole. She didn't even start to walk yet. Usually you start walking when it turns red and the walk signal lights up. I don't know, maybe you like to start walking when the green light is on, but not me.

Bad day so he's taking it out on an asian guy. Don't get me wrong, my best friend from 2nd grade is white so I have nothing against the white guy. But I do have a problem with white popos who just by many times seeing that I'm asian disrespect me with their tone of voice.

No matter what, I'm appealing this because I didn't feel that while the lady was still on the sidewalk pressing the light button(she didn't start to walk yet), that I should yield to her when the light was green for me, that I'm somehow braking the law.

Maybe when I passed her, she started walking and the cop saw that and went after me.

I'd say once they're in the street, not on the sidewalk unless there is no pedestrian light and/or it says Yield to Pedestrians on a sign at the crosswalk.

Where did this happen? In Boston especially near the college areas people will walk when it is green. I seriously do not slow down. I obviously make sure I have enough time to brake etc. I am not dumb and do not want to hit someone.

But it is absurd and truthfully some of these college kids need to get hit. They think they know Boston or something. Real Bostonians will not stop like I do.

But sounds like BS. Also seat belt off? Did he say while you were driving or because it was off after he pulled you over? Should have asked him on the spot what was up with that.

Also if anything it would be that you were driving a BMW not that you were asian. Not saying the cop had some sort of reason like that. But I bet that would have more of an impact. Especially with the huge stereotype BMW drivers have.
