Create and complete a story based off a topic

The goal is to formulate a story in 15 sentences somehow relating to a topic, then to create another 15 sentence story with another topic.

I will start the first sentence and topic, and the next poster will copy/paste my sentence, and add only one additional sentence until 15 total sentences. Then, the 15th sentence poster will come up with a new topic and start the first sentence.

Topic: A horrible secret

One day, as I was commuting to work in my newly purchased Scion TC, I pondered why my mother drank so much, and it occurred to me that she was hiding something.

I never understood why your mother drank so much either. And the prostitution?? It's not like she needed the money... No amount of holy water and antibiotics will ever fill that deep hole in her soul.
