And even less in Norcal, but if you're cheap you can make it last six months for sure! Eat one meal a day, rent a room for $600/month, etc. definately do'able, but it'll affect your lifestyle.

Nah, $1200-1700/mo. is realistic.

When you get in the $2k a month range, either it's a brand new complex or its a luxury complex....or it has more than 1 bedroom.
