You also chose the best color combo possible, but I'm a bit biased.
beautiful car bro, I see you have that (TLD) the last detail banner up so I know you know about detailing. The owner is one of my bestfriends from the military Jace

Haha...getting married is Ok as long as she works, it's the kids that suck the life out of your bank accounts

What's the story on the new engine? What happened with the original?

The prior engine had excessive wear on the intake cam lobe of number 6 cylinder. I'm not sure if this has to do with the original "finger follower" issue that pushed Porsche to offer the 10/120k warranty in the first place or not, but the car has a brand new G series engine (the newest version that fixes the prior series problems) that cost $40k and still covered for another 5.5 years, so that works for me.

Wow what an amazing car, that color combo with the paint, wheels, mirrors, calipers, just everything is perfect.

That warranty is fantastic as well, what peace of mind! Enjoy her!

Not my garage...that's a local detailer but he's good people and I trust any product he stands behind.

Marriage is fine, just make sure she's cashflow positive in the relationship and keep expenses separate .

"Hey, I'm going to sell the M4 and buy a new GT3..."
"How much is a GT3?"
"Hmm close to $200k-all-in with taxes and registration"
"Okay, what color?"

My significant other doesn't bat an eye when I buy a new car, new watch, etc. because she has her own income and own money. I also don't bat an eye when she buys a new bag, new clothes, etc. When the dinner bill comes, she throws her card down as often as I do.

Makes the relationship muchhhhh smoother.

No kids (yet) though.

That is a LOT of car for the money. Well done.

There’s lots of opinions about what a ‘proper’ GT3 is...sofas/buckets, manual/PDK, winged/touring. Whichever the spec, it’s still a helluva car with a bunch of factory warranty left

beautiful car. fantastic price!

NOT "high miles" as somebody said. Modern car culture has become so shallow that 39K miles is now considered "high miles"???

buying a performance car with miles on it is BETTER than buying a garage queen! Hope you enjoy it lots! Drive it lots!

So true. The car with <40 miles that's sat in a garage for 4 years has a higher probability of grenading than the car with a proven 40k miles under its belt. Especially with these 991.1 GT3s with the finger follower issues.

That's what I said when I saw the price, especially considering the $15k in extras and brand new engine....and still got it down from there a bit too. Pretty sure I'll be able to drive it for a few years and sell for close to what I paid for it. Can't imagine clean title 991 GT3's dipping below $90k any time soon.

GT Silver looks different in person than in pictures, I'm usually not crazy about silver cars but the GT silver/black trim combo is awesome

Congrats.
GT Silver is awesome. Of course I’m bias since I have a 991.1 c2s in GT silver, not nearly the car GT3 is.
I didn’t get all the hype about LWB until I got my GT4. It definitely gives you better posture, if nothing else.

Your theory wouldn't apply here though. OP already stated the engine only has 1K miles on it.

Congrats OP! Beautiful car and great deal! Really wanted a 3RS or 2RS but I don't track my cars so decided on a turbo S.

Turbo S is awesome. I don't track either, but the GT3 is pretty amazing on the street too. It's definitely not a track-only car. I just ordered the JCR titanium race pipe from the videos in the first post, ready for my ears to bleed...

Looks good. Congrats. Now it’s time to get rid of that plate and get personalized one that says ‘buzingby’.
