Top Trumps

Ok, its just occurred to me that Donald Trump has never held any political office whatsoever and has absolutely no experience in any form of democratic or diplomatic environment. It would be akin to the job of Chief of the General Staff (Army) being given to a used car salesman.

How in fucks teeth can a country 'elect' (we know the people dont actually elect POTUS) someone in to the highest and most powerful state office on the planet when all the fucker has ever done is bully and buy people??

The bloke is a trashy snake oil salesman pure and simple and I think the average American will regret their decision pretty quickly later on this year. He has demonstrated that he is not diplomatic and throws dirt at all who oppose him. I cant see him turning in to the epitome of a dignified, unassuming Statesman when he takes office.

I guess the current gun laws in the US will finally be put to good use and the part of the 2nd Amendment will actually mean the population use them to protect themselves against the foreseeable fuckwittedry that his administration will bring. Wouldn't want to be on the Presidential Secret Service detail for the next few years....

I dont follow Twatter but cant ignore the news regarding his tweets etc. Not exactly the sort of behaviour you'd expect from a Statesman. Can you imagine him and his council trash family being received by the Queen?? I'd like to hope the Duke of Edinburgh is healthy enough to twat the crayon-eating halfwit in the head.

Its a not so well known fact that Biff Tannen in Back to the Future Part II (where Marty goes to the future and sees the USA in shite order) is based on Trump....and that was made in 1989 and the plot is set in 2015. Only two years out but; Oh the irony.

I'm defecting to North Korea. Its safer and more progressive.

Back to the Future II predicts the future

Trump will make George Dubya look like Abe Lincoln.

PS My background is a 32 year served veteran with the British Army. 8 years Infantry, 24 years as a helicopter pilot/Instructor. Tours completed; Northern Ireland, Middle East, Far East, Bosnia/Balkans so I dont consider myself as some sort of lefty pinkie .

Canada elected a snowboard instructor as Prime Minister.....oh, and he was also a part time drama teacher too. Trump at least has real world business and life experience. HRC was so damn corrupt, (amassed $200 Million person worth on a civil servants salary, or she robbed her charity blind) but a career politician, so who is most suited to hold office?

This is hilarious. Guy voices opinion that counters a few huge threads loving the orange monster. The responses are to tell the guy to leave and to enjoy your sphere of defence. Nice to see that open discourse is supported, as long as those speaking believe what you believe.

I'm Canadian - I prefer our snow board instructor to the puppet we had prior.

Trump is a damn cancer. But he was democratically elected and it is what it is. I'm just buying lots of popcorn so I'm ready for the next 4 years. It's either going to be hilarious or disasterous - but neither of those things bode well for policy or diplomacy.

So the Russian campaign espionage program was able to bamboozle you. And Trump said it had no effect.

Trudeau was elected to represent the riding of Papineau in the House of Commons in 2008 so he has some political experience. Also he is much more intelligent, knowledgeable and articulate than Trump (not that is saying much).

Trump's business record is mixed (he wrote off couple hundred millions loss), his casinos went bankrupt and his "university" is a known scam. And no, so called "life experience" doesn't qualify.

Trump is shaping up to be the most corrupt president in history. He is not even trying to hide it. He chose 6 cronies for top positions already which is record-setting. Also he is expected to reward Florida attorney with White House post in return for her dropping investigation into Trump's "university" scam.

No. I asked him to keep his opinion to himself just as I do about the governance in his country, as well as yours.

I've been consuming popcorn for the past 18 months as I observed and predicted Mr. Trump running the table on the media as well as leftists of all stripe. I find it absolutely hilarious that Mr. Trumps critics, many of whom have accomplished very little in their own lives, speak so negatively about his intelligence, accomplishment, success, etc.

I will write this out for all to see: He is one of the 150 wealthiest people on the planet. People who have earned this type of wealth think, act, and operate in a different fashion that the rest of us. Anyone who buys into the foolishness that the MSM delivered on Mr. Trump or continues to buy into it after the irrefutable evidence of their malfeasance is simply daft.

Fucknuts, I don't think you understood the question/comment. I think you think this is like the usual YouTube type of comment thread where it descends in to inane name-calling, anti-US, anti-Muslim, utter-cock-jousting because you dont understand and think anything that is ever said is always against your right as a human to devolve any thought to only what your limitations allow.

I'm sorry to disappoint you but an opinion against what you believe is what we in the Western world thrive on. If all you can come up with is the IQ depleted response you posted then, guess what, Cletus, your sister will only ever be your mother-in-law and Jerry Springer will be your only claim to fame. Stand down and let the grown-ups discuss your future.
Seriously, do you think that Trump is the best way forward to you, as an American citizen to remain a credible, functioning part of society? Feel free to Google the answer or get your carer to help you out.

Yes. I can discuss the governance in my country with my fellow citizens. It's like being a house guest, you don't criticize the free booze you're consuming at a friends home even though it's not exactly your favorite. You politely consume it. It's called having class and decorum.

I visit your country. I love your country. The governance of your country doesn't have anything to do with me.

So you advocate that an individual who has made his fortune (by proxy of family) as a businessman is suitable to hold office as a Statesman? Rich = suitable?

You do understand that to be one of the wealthiest men on the planet, you have to have a persona that sort of doesnt give a fuck about people? You must also understand that ego and megalomania and no interest in politics has no bearing on the ability to be able to run a country let alone stand on the world stage to ensure stability? Diplomacy and understanding of world affairs clearly doesnt come in to it?

Would you say he is qualified for the post?
