I don't think he's defending a murderer, he's simply stating that in the US justice system, you have to have cold hard facts. There were none of those in this case. There was a shit-ton of circumstantial evidence but that's never going to be enough in a death penalty case.

I really have no idea. It's really hard to say since actual details on the event just aren't out in the open.

If I had to say, I would think she and Mr. Anthony played a role in the death. I'm not saying either one of them killed her, maybe an accident, but it seems to me that they both, definitely Casey, knew of and did something with the body, however Caylee might have died.

Ok, so the only evidence they had was circumstantial, and they needed a sworn statement from any of the people that KNEW she did it, or helped her with it.... So why the fuck does her family still have their fingernails intact? FAIL

Someone will kill her, I'm sure. So many women out there that can't have children who are so enraged by this..... And because they can't have children, they believe they have nothing to live for, hence are more likely to stab that bitch. I hope they get a video of it too, and post it on youtube.

I think she was involved as were the parents in some way. I think or believe it was possibly an accident or neglect on all their parts hence the cover up and bull shit flim flam stories. I was seriuosly leaning towards manslaughter with neglience factored in until the last 3 weeks when it was pretty apparent no one was offering anything substantial in this case. It's to bad because a little girl lost her life and her legacy is and always will be only that.
I also think every member of the prosecution team that gets paid by taxpayer dollars should give their entire salary back as this was a lost cause months ago and it took forever to even get it to trial with no hope of winning. I want to see Lawson Lamar serving me a Whopper!!! I find it intriguing that none of the other members of the prosecution team even attended the news conference, trying to distance themselves from this travesty of a trial maybe??

Yeah I dont think anyone is defending that she's innocent, we are just saying we don't think she is guilty.

Nobody knows the truth, and thats the fact. Only her.

Like Jericho said, I'm not defending Casey, I'm talking about needing actual evidence. And way to convict someone when they were proven to be not guilty. I bet you had Casey convicted way before the verdict. Shows you have no concept of the judicial system.
Are you kidding me dude? Casey is not defending herself. OBVIOUSLY she has a defense team.

Common sense. You have absolutely none of it.

Agreed, like I said earlier, with the evidence they had, and the brand new scientific techniques they used that still didn't prove anything, it should have never gone to trial.
Although, I'm not sure the mother was involved. You can still get in lots of trouble for neglect and a child dying, so that could be part of the reason for the cover up, if there was one. That's what the dad could have freaked out about.
I thought I saw the chick at the prosecution news conference.

I said it from day one, the prosecution would not be able to prove her guilt. Glad to see Jose Baez and Casey Anthony prevailed. I don't see the prosecutor laughing now? Where's Nancy's snarky remarks as well?

Well, anyone who doesn't think she's guilty might have a screw loose.

However, if you followed the trial, it was pretty obvious that there was a good chance that there wasn't enough evidence to deem her guilty in the US justice system. The prosecution just didn't build a good enough case. The bad guy can still win in our system; that's nothing new.

Common sense states that there is a dead girl, no physical, hard proof of anything else.

Opinions and emotions are what is taking control.

Neither do you sir as there was no way in hell they could get a conviction in a cpaital murder case with the evidence they had period. This is not defending her it's defending our legal system and constitution. Lamar tried to try this in the media hoping for the proverbial "hail Mary Pass" and instead he got sacked.
If our legal system convists someone based on this it is a sad state. How many times do wrongly convicted individuals need to be freed at great cost to the public and even greater cost to that individual? Casey Anthony was lucky in the sense that she had representation that was thorough and stood by her thru the entire 3 years. She should walk with probation only come Thursday unless the judge bows to pressure from the media and politicians prior to sentencing.

Yep, her lawyer just made a name for himself that is for sure,

I can not believe she got off too, obviously the jury did not want to believe she killed her kid....

From what I read, her lawyer just picked on the couple of points of what the DA failed to do, one how did the kid die, drowning or some other means... I think this is the exact reason the state lost their case.
