She had a great defense team that put ALOT of doubt into the jury, and they won a big case.

She was found guilty of lying, which is obvious.

The entire family is really messed up though.

She's already been in jail for 2+ yrs so I doubt she'll get much tacked on to her time served and they can often be served concurrently. These are misdemeanors we're talking about.

I do have to disagree with that statement. There was a great deal of circumstantial evidence pointing to her but nothing 100% conclusive like DNA, etc. If you put the pieces of the puzzle together it points to her but that's not how our justice system works.

They also found that the mother was lying about being home at the times those searches were performed. She was actually at work (that's a fact) and the only person who could have been home was Casey.

Again, one more piece of the puzzle that certainly implicates her but does not definitively mean she did it.

This.

The whole issue with her being found not guilty lies in the words, "Beyond a reasonable doubt".

There is no concrete evidence that proves beyond a reasonable doubt that she is guilty. The pieces to the puzzle, when put together point to her guilt but there is no "smoking gun" with which to convict her.

That said, she'll get hers one way or the other.

Absurd comments.

Case was highly circumstantial and it was never proven when, nor was it approached, when she was killed. The how was a leap of faith and was not proven beyond a reasonable doubt.
Realistically, it should have never gone to trial with the lack of true evidence they had.

The mother lied, blatantly, in court and said that she was lookng up Chlorophyl and it auto searched Chloroform. When on the stand she even misspoke and had a Freudian slip of the word Chloroform.
