How did I end up getting 7 PS3's???

I'm just too excited, that I have to share with you guys!

I was in Best Buy thursday early morning when I heard on of the empoyee's saying that a UPS truck came by and dropped off 10 new PS3's! I quickly grabbed a manager and told him to give me one. He told me that Sony was delivering them to major retail stores in the area at the same time today. So I hit every store: Circuit City, GameStop, EB Games, Best Buy, and then drove out to another mall and it was early enough that I was able to get some of the last ones. What a great time to take a few days vacation from work.

Woah.... lucky for some aren't even out here in UK yet and you've got 7, i'd say you have a healthy bill on your credit card

Seems like you give that 330i of yours a good testing for speed lol!!

What if no one will buy them? You still have the 30 return policy. But after 30 days, what happen then if you cannot rid of them?

I already have 2 on ebay, and the rest I wanted to see if I can sell through here and fliers in local video and grocery stores, etc. Usually you can get slightly more $$ this way. If I don't get any bites, the rest I will put up on ebay in a couple weeks---still enough time to return if I don't want them. However, that will never have to happen becuase the PS3's won't be out on shelves until March of 2007....too many people want them, and not enough to go around. I will always get AT LEAST retail for them until they come out...and now they are going for about $300 over retail.

Not really afraid of the price of PS3 (arond $600?).

But the games will be too expensive since they use new tech. called blue-ray.

I dunno. the PS2's games are in DVD format and they are already expensive for me ($40~60 for good games like GT and rainbow six, etc...).

I will just wait till how they come up with game prices.

Well something I did with ipods when they first came out. You should be able to plenty of money from e-bay for these. I sell stuff there all the time. Selling my K40 right now BTW on ebay...Bid's up to $260 with 2 days left and didn't think I'd be able to get $200 for it. Go figure

I have 3 ps3's for sale as well that I got on launch day.
Kept one for me and slapped the other 2 on ebay the day of...
Didn't even get 200$ over what i paid. So i canceled the auction last minute.
You see the problem is there's a ton of them on ebay right now and the ebay sellers are controlling the market.
So by having ps3 auctions that end every minute means the prices are going down drastically...
I still have mine and will keep them until christmas time and slap them up on ebay again to see if something gives. But i don't have high hopes...
But i'm definitaly enjoying my personal ps3. Truly a remarkable machine.
It's a computer and then some...

It is hard to justify spending over $600 for a PS3; however, the built in High Def. Blue Ray DVD player is worth retail $1000 alone! That was my justification since I just bought a HD plasma.

would you be willing to let go of one for the retail price to me so i can get it to my little brother who's in the hospital for xmas?

not trying to throw a sappy story, i know ppl do that but honestly he has severe bronchitis and goes in and out of the hospital regularly and just yesterday he was admitted again for severe breathing probs

backstory: he was born 2 months premature and his longs were fully developed. for as long as he's been alive he's had severe asthma , etc etc.
