Hi Roman, I hope all is well!

I'm not sure if the IND team mentioned it to you but I picked up a '10 550i with a M Sport package. It's AW over BLK interior and looks great. It's a completely different driver than the M3 and totally different than my 08 335xi it will replace. Over time, I'll be adding some very modest modifications like a drop, wheels and some signature IND cosmetic touches.

So, I responded to this post for a reason; if this system were to ever make production AND I fell and hit my head and said 'yes' to adding one to my 550i, could this make me the first person to have two ESS superchargers on two different BMW platforms?

And then there was a beautiful rainbow...

We have a few customers who have more than one ESS SC car but you would be the first with a E9x and a 5 series The kit will be released later this year. I will update with pictures of the kit installed later this summer

I thought e60 withing 04-07 couldnt have superchargers due to the material of the engine. It will not withstand the pressure.

Fourth quarter is only two weeks away!

Any update? Will a new hood be required, or will the SC fit under the current hood?

Best,

Rob

Here are a few pics of the kit installed on our 545. As you can see the blower fits neatly under the factory engine cover providing a very clean look. Current ETA for release is Q1 2011 for the 45 series and Q2 2011 for the 50 series.
