Smoke test and HUGE leak in bottom of N55 (FIXED) Thanks guys!!!

Hey guys, hope you are all doing well!
Check engine light is on with reduced power. (but doesn't feel like less power)
The car starts then shuts down immediately, takes anywhere from 5 to 10 starts to get it to a rough idle but after that it smooths out and runs just fine.
what's been replaced is Low pressure fuel pump, low pressure fuel sender/regulator, and the fuel pressure sensor.
But after running a smoke test I don't think any of that was the issue(should have done it sooner lol)
Here is a video I made of with results of the smoke test.

Anyone have any idea where this is coming from?
I was thinking the head gasket but what do you guys think?
Thanks for everything guys!

thats hard to tell, imo you got to get better access (remove tank, look from underneath) or get a big inspection mirror and slow the smoke flow so you can see it better

Thanks 335i54n, I will give it a shot and see what I can find!
hopefully I can find a way in there. I looked from underneath and couldn't see anything so
i'll have to start removing things or get a scope.

Agreed to try and see how to get farther in there - mirror, extra lighting.

I wish I could say it wouldn't be near the head gasket, but sure, it could be. But I think that would be really loud and obvious, if it was blowing smoke out from this test it'd be far louder when running and blowing out compression.

I wonder if it's an exhaust leak from underneath, or a crack, but also think you'd hear that.

Could be turbo related. Could even be something that is actually open on purpose when the engine is shut off? I can't think of anything that fits that description but will throw it out there as a small possibility.

That's the inlet pipe to the turbo where the smoke is going in? Thinking either a cracked charge pipe or misaligned pipe

Thanks M-technik-3 and also tracer bullet.
So it was just a misaligned pipe as M-technik-3 said(the one to the turbo). So I was able to get it all snug again and work well. So thanks a ton everyone for the help!
But after I just got it fixed, amazon dropped off my new code reader and Holy Christ Almighty!!!

here's what popped up...

Im wondering if its a battery issue b4 I start freaking out...

I got the blue driver. Was cheap but had good reviews.
If its crap for bmw let me know though... Ill return it and get something better if you suggest something
After I get this car fixed I may unload it so I can buy an old v10 m6 manual.
Probably even more of a dumpster fire than this car but it sounds and looks so good!

You'd have to test it to know for sure. You could just replace it if it seems old enough... But it has been pretty well documented here that a bad battery or one of the grounding cables being corroded will indeed cause a bunch of random codes to throw.

All those codes...have you cleared them to see what comes back? First read of a 'new' car is always a bit scary.
