As a flashlight collector, wanted to know if any other collectors were in the forums.
Not fleshlight……. Have several mag lights, head torches and EDC lights thrown around the house |

Before my "superleggera" mode started after my last hospital stay, I pocket-carried a 2 x AA-cell incandescent Maglight every day going back to my teens. Had the spare bulb under the negative battery spring, like every other Maglight.
Back in the day, I also had an elusive (at least in NY State) 6 x D-cell Maglight. They were deemed weapons after I bought it, and indeed many police officers at the time used to carry one in place of their baton. After my hospital stay, they sent me home to die with a 24/7 IV infusion pump that ran on C-cells. The infusion company sent sealed boxes of 12 Duracells every week with each IV and supply shipment, and the pump only went through 6-8 batteries per week. Long story short, I have a whole 4-foot roller toolbox drawer full of C-cell batteries if anyone needs a box or ten. To take advantage of my C-cell battery bounty, I bought a whole pile of 3 x C-cell LED flashlights for all of my vehicles, around the house, etc. Among them are Defiant, Husky, and Maglight flashlights. The Maglight one sucks the chrome off of a trailer hitch ball, which was a surprise to me since it was my go-to brand and cost the most of the bunch. The other two brands are awesome, although Defiant is apparently unobtanium/out of business these days. Surprisingly, the flashlight that gets used almost every day around here is one of the Hazard Fraught magnetic "puck" lights that they sometimes give away for free with any purchase as a promotion. This is a newer version of the ancient one that I have, free this weekend and normally a whopping $1.79: https://www.harborfreight.com/lighti...ght-63878.html I keep it magnetically stuck to the side of my bedroom night stand roller toolbox, and grab it for those frequent nighttime trips to the driver's lounge triggered by diuretics and old age.....

Oh! I like this. My tool back pack (read as a murse to some) is in the trunk of my car but I'll post up what I keep around.
My favorite. This guy stays on my Fluke punch down pouch. Had to replace the light that came with the pouch. https://www.streamlight.com/products...dex/protac-2aa I have several of these. Free swag from a tradeshow a few years ago. The magnets on these are the business. https://www.streamlight.com/products...ewinder-rescue In my Klein backpack I keep a couple of the small mag lights, with the push button/led set up. Have a couple of these. Great design but absolutely disposable. The material is way to soft for them to last. Great idea, poor execution. https://www.amazon.com/Mylivell-Flas...46505925&psc=1 I've got a couple of Nebo Big Larrys too. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016W5NLUM...NsaWNrPXRydWU= My headlamp - https://www.grainger.com/product/60U...E&gclsrc=aw.ds Ms. Gogo, what do you use for your headlamp? |

[QUOTE=vreihen16;28095942]Before my "superleggera" mode started after my last hospital stay, I pocket-carried a 2 x AA-cell incandescent Maglight every day going back to my teens. Had the spare bulb under the negative battery spring, like every other Maglight.
Back in the day, I also had an elusive (at least in NY State) 6 x D-cell Maglight. They were deemed weapons after I bought it, and indeed many police officers at the time used to carry one in place of their baton. When I was a young copper I had one of those, it was handy because at night you could have it in your hand all the time without raising any concern, but I frankly found it a bit to heavy, so my preference was my 26" straight stick and then my ASP. Straight stick was always my favourite to be honest. |

I want to try one of those LED strip headlamps, but nothing is wrong with mine....and it was kinda pricey. I used to keep a Petzl Zipka in my bag but I laid it down on a jobsite and just never replaced it.

The glove lights are handy, but so cheaply made. If someone else were to make these and make them durable, I'd by at least two.

We have so many in the house i've lost count, but the one i like the best is ironically the cheapest, a 4$(on sale like 75%off at the time) amazon pocket flashlight, full metal top to bottom with adjustable beam, super bright and its taken a lickin' and kept on ticking, water resistant and all that jazz, of course its some no-name brand, but its build quality is top notch and works as good as the day we got it like 5 years ago.
