Somebody did this recently, I think that they used a heat gun and some fishing line. I don't know where the thread is, but it is on here somewhere.

i used fishing line to remove my spoiler.

Good luck removing the residue. This took me some time to take off.

I heard that using those plastic straps that they use to hold boxes together work good. You know flat plastic reinforced straps you can find on motherboard boxes at Frys.

To remove the tape, you really want to use an eraser pad attachment on a drill or rotary tool. It will make quick work of the tape. I wouldn't mess with a heat gun because it's easy to burn things. I wouldn't use chemicals because it can be messy and hurt the paint. Don't have an eraser pad? Take it to a body shop and have them remove it for you, they will have the pad.
