That's a healthy looking Coyote! Looks like that new camera/lens combination is really working out well.

Good to see some extra street/architectural and automotive shots in a wildlife heavy thread Not that I don't appreciate the breathtaking wildlife pictures, just good to notice some diversity lately.

I guess I should've kept my mouth shut, not even wildlife pics anymore? Here's one to break the dry spell, Milwaukee skyline again, BUT, you can see some wildlife too Killing two birds with one stone, architecture and almost non existential wildlife (just to be clear)

Shot a cyclocross race today in miserable conditions. Cold, raining, and windy. Worst conditions I've ever worked in. My glasses and and viewfinder kept fogging up, so I was shooting blind a bunch of the time. Luckily Canon's AF makes up for my issues. Hats off to these folks who raced on such a nasty day.

Great shot Mark. I wish it was cold wet and rainy here! I’m sitting in my dark living room with no power. I was supposed to be spending the night in Geyserville tonight celebrating the fall harvest. Instead they are evacuating most of Sonoma county and shutting off the power to most of the Bay Area. Luckily I bought some bags of ice and a bottle of Jameson Caskmates Stout to hunker down and ride out the wind with.

Yeah, I've been reading about the fire nightmares out there. Either deal with no power, or deal with wildfires. Not a happy choice.

Love the Jameson Cask Mates. Especially the IPA.

Great shot that perfectly captures the determination and agony of the rider in such harsh conditions.

I usually like to [try] to take architectural shots as well but I've been fairly limited to my house and dogs. So, in response to your post.....pseudo-wildlife (aka Baxter.....aka the ferret). lol

Finally got power back (for now). I posted this one full sized to show off the resolution of the A7r4, so if you have a big display, click through to Flickr and click on the original size to see the detail.

That's impressive, Ed. I remember Gigapan shots from a few years ago with impressive detail. I'd love to see one of those shots created with the Sony gear you and DC have.

I was looking through some old photos and found a few with memorable subject matter, just not the best quality. This is what was for dinner in the village that night, Gili Trawangan 2003.

Cute puppy!
I used to click all the time when I was living in NYC, amazing architecture all around, rarely since I've moved to Wisconsin.
