I refrained from chocolate, and placed an order for vanilla cinnamon and sugar cookie candles. Hopefully the recipient likes them.

Best of luck with the fundraiser, Sara!

Just curious, where did those funds go? Where they returned or used for other areas in the school?

Have you tried a bikini car wash? If there are more moms at her school that have good genes like you, I think that would raise sufficient funds! Good luck!

Sara,

First off, the little one is just adorable.

Now I am sure you can convince one you the many guys courting you that It would be just awesome if they could finance this for your daughter's school.
Man are suckers and they will most likely jump at a chance to impress you with their buying power.

Hope they get their Playground toys.

Regards

I dont know. All I know is about two months after this fundraiser last year, they sent out a note to the parents stating not enough funds were raised for the playground and a second fundraiser was done, this time selling flavored popcorn which was to purchase books for the school instead. This school is in a very underprivileged part of town. But these are the nicest people you would ever meet. I took my daughter out of this school in the summer and enrolled her in a private more expensive and nicer school, she cried every day and it wasnt a nurturing environment for her. I re enrolled her back at this school last fall.

What about a "go fund me" campaign? People do that for all sorts of stuff.

Sara, you should put up a blog post saying that you got fired from Yelp.

Oh... there was a thread on a girl who was fired from her job and started a GoFundMe campaign, raising over $3K in a day. Never mind.
