Calgary has got to be the cheapest place to buy gas in Canada. Here in Vancouver we pay CAD$1.299/L, which is USD$3.8/Gallon. That's for 94AKI. No where near Euro prices, but painful none-the-less.

Well its is Produced, Refined, and Sold here. Which cuts down on alot of costs.

We also have the lowest fuel and overall sales taxation in the country.

It all adds up.

I think Edmonton is a hair cheaper though ( where the refineries actually are ).

Well then. How's your mpg look on the S55?

Doesn't look like you've added any performance mods that would kill your mileage.

Excellent, hoping to get something similar/slightly higher with my M2.

What app is that, by the way? Nice correlation.

It is called "Road Trip" and allows synchronization between iPhone and iPad. Not sure if they have an Android version or not. It is pretty easy to enter and I like to track mainly to make sure there are no drastic changes over time, which could indicate a problem with the car.

Indeed, makes perfect sense. I've got an iPhone, I'll be downloading it now.

Gas Prices

Well here in Massachusetts, I see $1.79 for Regular at the moment. Average price in the Boston area is $1.55. This is 87 RON, so not appropriate for most BMWs. When you pull up to the pump, Hi Test is $2.30 to $2.70 from memory--I don't buy it so I am not completely sure.

However, the real bargain is $2.02 for Diesel. I have even paid $1.99 once. Shell V power diesel is $2.19, which I use most of the time. That plus getting >40 mpg us, is a deal at the moment. My wife is doing even better in her sportwagen.
