should i buy this 545i8 lol i know ive been whining to get one but this one is from my dealership.

2004 545i 128,000 miles 3 owners on carfax. the first owner lemon,buybacked it . the 3rd owner had the car from 66k miles until 128k miles for almost 5 years. it has 28 serbvice records on it . my lot was planing to send it to auction but willingto sell it to me for 6,000$ with a 3 month 3k mile powertrain waranty. the volume button does not work and the cup holders are both broken

I have 5,000$ sitting for repairs lol at least ill get our dealerships 3k 3 month powertrain warranty. I want the car

bmw v8s have been very needy and spendy in my experiences. ive had a 540i and an M5. not cheap to maintain.

How much per year did the 540i cost you for maintenance ? How many miles per year did you drive ? How many miles total on your 540i? Did you have it serviced at a BMW dealership or independent ? Thanks I might keep my 07 328i on the side just in case problems prevent me from driving the 545i

Is this the same one you were talking about in your other 2 threads? 6k isn't bad even for a first year E60. The amount of service records doesn't matter, its about what was done. See if the dealership will read you the history of the major work done.

A record could be anything from an oil change to an alignment or something as big as a water pump or valve cover gasket

Call tomorrow and find out exactly what was done and let us know
