I'd go with a set of VMRs, the CSLs work well on these cars and is a classic look. Typically you run a 19x8.5 ET40 and 19x9.5 ET22 with a 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 front and rear tire. We can also do 18's if you prefer.

The V710s are another look that is similar but different spoke design and more concave.

You want to go 19's or 20's? M6 wheels always look great on an E60.

I saw these are tirerack. Rays Master Piece REM. 1 piece forged wheel. They are on close out 90% off! I'm not sure what to think of the wheel on an E60 but I figure I would toss out there for everyone to see.

Gonna tough finding decent wheels and not spending over $2K IMO. I would check out the Breyton series at tirerack.com if you are spending less. Some of the wheels I like are:

1. HRE
2. Work
3. Advan

To name a few quality wheels for your Bimmer.

If you haven't already made a move, here's a tip. When you sell your car many will not like an aftermarket wheel design on the car, so that could affect its value. Some dealers will greatly discount its trade value if the wheels on it are not OEM or look like they are (replicas). They will play it safe and want a car that is easier to move to a broad spectrum of buyers.

The M6 wheel is BMW and looks like it belongs on that car, so it would probably be better, while still being an "upgrade" in looks (I think).

If you do go aftermarket, keep your original wheels/tires in storage and pop them on before selling or offer to sell the car with whichever set they want. Take photos of the car with your original wheels now so you can put that in ads later if selling it yourself. Even good looking aftermarket wheels can be a turnoff to many buyers, some of whom are very conservative about this sort of thing.

Also, consider springing for extra tpms sensors so you can keep your old ones in the original wheels. Removing them means the old ones will not be balanced, or even if balanced after removal, they will sell at a huge discount and you may need them back on the car later. Well worth the $250 or so to get a 2nd set installed when you do the wheels.

Replica and even refurbished OEM BMW wheels are available online. Just do a search. Often you can get them to also mount/balance tires and add tpms. All you'll need to do is mount them or have a shop do it.
