What is this car?
This thing passed me on the way home tonight. It's the only photo I could snap. The front looked VERY badass, with air intakes on the side (like a Maserati) and tastefully done. The front grill was totally custom with a "V...B..." something badge (couldn't make it out).
Looks like a heavily customized IMPALA... BUT we don't normally have them here in Switzerland plus the quality of craftmanship on this thing was way beyond a neighborhood chop shop. Maybe something GM did? |

I'd say is Opel Vectra (which is related to GM deeply).....since its in Europe....heavily modded....:

Hard to tell, from the side it looks like some kind of Audi. A6 maybe? But the rear does not look Audi in any way.

Interesting - I'm amazed we can't figure it out, but it does look like something potent. Look at them wide wheels/tires, quads, fender flares, wide stance, etc...
WTF is it? |

There's no "malibu" selling in europe.....GM use the Opel or Vauxhall brand overseas.....i'm guessing its a Vauxhall...maybe a VXR....then some aftermarket parts on it....but afterall...its a GM brand.....
some pics from Birmingham Auto Show in 2002...see if there's anything similar.... Last edited by E90SLAM; 01-17-2011 at 08:59 AM.. |

Nah, I had time to think about it I'm pretty sure it's an Impala.
Vectra is much smaller (and we have zillions of them 'round here so I could easily tell the difference). The SS has different exhaust pipes. And an older guy in a suit was driving it - not the typical customer for modded cars. |
