Sweet Stew! Yeah, I play some bass in a little local cover band. It's a real fun time, but I'm not quitting my day job any time soon! We're writing some of our own material, but more just for us, not necessarily an audience. I also play drums and guitar, but the bass is my fave.

You play regularly?

With two young girls, 4 and 5, 5 horses, 3 dogs, 3 cats, 3 rabbits, 2 Bimemrs and a wife to support, you can bet I don't support myself with music!

I've got a couple of fun gigs upcoming tough...a 50th anniversary party the 24th of June, mostly 70s rock, like CCR, Steve Miller, BTO, that kind og GREAT stuff.

I also have a regular Tuesday night jam with piano, drums and guitar, we run through jazz standards to stay sharp.

I have played almost everything, rock, country, Big Band and wedding stuff. Not so good with the reggae, salsa, or African stuff....never ereally had the chance to work it out!

Two of my sisters went to Dalhousie, so I figure your cover band must have a lot of fun there in Halifax! (My mom (pianist) is from Glace Bay, her whole family was musical, including my grandpa, who was a fisherman by day and a fiddler/bandleader by night!)
