It’s cloudy and I loathe clouds. If I could, I’d eliminate them all from my city.

I have zero time for my own house/car projects, and have done nothing to really relax in a long time. I still can't help saying "yes" to helping friends and family and it is starting to take its toll on my mental health. Being a nice guy sucks sometimes. I need to be more of a selfish dick.

Friends in need are pests, but we love our pests, sooooooo.

You find out who your friends are when it's time to move though. They scatter like roaches. The ones that stick around to help are the ride-or-dies.

I confess that I wish more of you were talking about how to improve the exaust on the G8X rather then confessing.

Not entirely sure, it's my second wipe out. First time sheer novice and I locked the front disk brake at low speed, wasn't fun, broke the kick start spring just a few scrapes.

Last Saturday (two years later), really don't exactly know what happened, was riding near an intersection, green light, second later I'm on my back sliding forward. Bike is fine I'm not. Sprained ankle bad enough that walking isn't possible, that foot has a 4x1" scab, both knees and arms have scabs now.

Did I lock the brake? Did the stand catch on the ground? Turn the front too hard? No hospital or anything, got x-ray yesterday, with results next week.

Admittedly, I wasn't dressed properly, but don't want a third time.

We could use all the clouds we can get here. That light rain Thursday night was fantastic. This drought/heat is wearing on me as the years pass and I’m moving my ass to the east coast in a few years hopefully

Several decades in Portland I realized why it has the highest suicide and depression rates. I get the each person has their preferences shit, but, to deny the science of needing the yellow orb is to ones own detriment. Phoenix isn’t for everyone that’s for sure, and I actually don’t mind a quick in quick out storm… I just loathe days of grey. Chose the inverse with the valley of the sun for a reason. Enjoy the east coast, I’ve opened offices in soho and vacationed all up and down it. It’s a beast I enjoy leaving. Maybe Charleston, I could do that city. Miami if I was ready to be single again.

What were you riding? Was the bike too much for you to handle since you mention that you're a novice? ATGATT is very important. I'm sorry that you feel that riding is not for you.
