I hate people who drive behind me, say in the #2 lane. Traffic is slow, but there is an opening coming up in the #1 lane. The car behind me speeds up to within inches of my bumper and then jams over into the #1 lane.

of course, I never do this. hehe. I find myself doing 1/2 the things that piss poeple off on this thread. I should probably pay as much attention to my drivingas picking on all the other things that others do to me.

Yeah, but when they come back to their cars it's pretty obvious what's happened. If you take out the actual valve portion from the valve stem and replace the valve caps it isn't straightaway obvious why all four tires are flat.

My favorite prank in college was to put bricks tight underneath the suspension next to the wheel and then let the air out. The car looked fine as one approached it but put it in gear and there was nothing.

That's awesome..

I do like your idea of pulling just the cores and putting the caps back on. That's pretty sweet. Takes too long though!!

Man driving home just now there was some 60 year old cvnt with a lincoln town car up my a$$ like there was no tomorrow. I would like to invent a spike strip that would drop from my car. Have load sensors record two passes then put the spikes back down so I didn't ruin anyone elses car.. Man I would have loved that just now..

That or a trunk monkey that would open up the trunk and start flinging poo at her windshield..

Oh here's another one. When another car slowly creeps into your lane and the driver puts their hand out of their window to tell you to stop. As if you couldn't see them, or you were doing something wrong.

I was doing a run on highway 9 today and on the way down this X3 in front of me was CONSTANTLY STEPPING ON THE BRAKE!!!!! It wasnt like she was go fast. She was travelling at about 30 mph when the speed limit is 35-40. OMFG There was no passing lane and I was driving a van so I didnt wanna pass her.

Those that live in the Bay Area: Im talking about the part of the road where there are virtually no curves and no slopes. She even braked in straight-aways. I wished I could have kicked her car off the road.

Helps avoid scratching / messing up the front bumper (I have first hand experience with my new Bimmer so low!) since the back isn't as low as the front when you park in spots and those annoying cement blocks catch on the front or have the metal bar jutting out further than normal

I have a friend that used to park backwards everytime in his old Toyota Corolla though and THAT was just always funny. He claimed he hated backing up out of spots so much so he'd park backwards lol!

I hate some tailgating me.

But I found solutions for that.

I installed rear fog switch and use it.

When someone tailgating me, I just turn it on and hit gas pedal.

Yes, rear fog looks alot like brake light.

ditto...it's all the damn rubberneckers and idiots!

If everyone in the NY metro area drove like grandma's, we'll all be getting stepped on, getting sent back to the line on a exit, or taking longer than resonable time in getting to one place from another!

I hate it when those rubberneck at a accident or those people getting into the other lane at a light on the parkway because there's no one else there and you're in that lane slowing down already. Pretty f'ing annoying here in the Westchester county area!

Oh yeah the most annoying one is those who get on the ramp...slow down to a crawl and merges at the very last min.

Hello?! entry ramps are for accelerating to traffic speed and merging!

Do planes do a takeoff roll, then stop at the end of the runway and shoot into the sky like it's a rocket?! Hell no!

Whenever I'm on a entry to the highway, it's takeoff roll time! Accelerate to the traffic or faster if there's a car in the way before merging!

Now vans and SUV's are the worst on the road, they block all the view that you can't see what's going on in the traffic ahead.

The same goes for school buses, wtf do they need those big ugly yellow half assed empty buses for?! A big van would do the same purpose!
Oh yeah the vans drive the left lane like they own it and don't move over, which in return they get cut off!

Boston drivers are the worst.
A few more annoying things I thought of today:
-When you're second at a light, and the person in front of you stops like 30 feet back from the white line. That just bothers me.
-Today I was turning off a state route (50mph limit) onto a back road.. It's normal practice to get into the breakdown lane before the turn, to slow down without slowing down traffic. Some woman decides to pull over into the breakdown lane to chat on her cell phone. I had to wait behind her then pull out into fast moving traffic for about two seconds so so I could make the turn.
-This afternoon I was on the highway riding with my friend. It was blindingly sunny so we slowed down. We were still doing over the limit. This a-hole in a Suburban was about 2 inches off our ass. We got over as soon as we could. The guy cuts in front of us, almost running us off the road. Then he slams on his brakes and goes down to like 40.. We tried to get around him and he kept cutting us off.. What the hell?

I back into a spot every time I can. Here's why:
1) I can see oncoming traffic, both as I back into the spot and when I go to pull out. There are no blind spots because an SUV parked next to me, since I start from an open lane and back in.
2) That dreaded curb rash.
3) Take-off is much more rapid if you are facing forward.

The things that piss me off:

- tailgaters
- people who read/apply makeup/shave/drink coffee/eat food/talk on the phone/ or basically do anything except drive while behind the wheel
- stopping to look at an accident
- riding their brakes
- people who don't park straight or who take up two spots
- not using your turn signal
- people who drive on the shoulder/turn lane to get ahead of everyone else when their lane ends

and my biggest pet peeve...
Driving in the left lane. I don't care if you're going 85 in a 70 zone. If I'm coming up behind you at 90, get over. I always leave the left lane open except when passing.

Oh man...

#1 biggest peeve driving here with Germans is when wanting to merge over to slower lane from the fast lane, I look in rearview...see a German 4 car distances behind me and put on blinker...then the BASTARD guns it like "how dare you take this tiny piece of land in front of me!!"

Nice having a BMW though, I put blinker on and immediately swerve into lane and dont give the sumbitch a chance!

(usually followed by flashing hi beams and repetitive horn blowing...LOL!)

Guess what??? F**K YOU, FRITZ!!!

now as far as changing lanes without turn signals I understand why people do that. here in Maryland when you put on your turn signal that is a sign for the driver in the lane you are trying to move to that they should speed up so you can't pull in front of them. then when you do get in front of them and they have to slam on their brakes to avoid hitting you they honk at you like it was your fault. so that is my issue number 1.

next - when there are five lanes on the highway and the speed limit is 65 and most of us want to do 85 or faster, the six people all doing 60 should not each pick a different lane so we have to weave in and out to maintain a reasonable speed.

last one (I could have a hundred of these) merging is supposed to be a zipper. my lane goes then your lane goes then my lane goes etc. stopping to let someone in when it is not their turn is not being nice; it takes longer for them to figure out that they can go than it would have to just go in the proper order. everyone in the lane that ends should not pick a random spot to come to a complete stop and wait for someone to let them in - drive to the end and merge - my lane, your lane, my lane.

if you can't tell I have a bit of a problem with stupid drivers.
gotta agree. i go to MD in daily basis (not anymore though).
95 is usually ok but 495...uhg...

It makes me crazy when the cars in front of me are going too slow, or the ones behind me are going too fast.

Another item that bugs me is when the off ramps are backed up, which is a daily event during rush hour(s) in Miami, cars dont want to wait in line so they go past everyone and try to merge at the exit point backing up the thru lanes too. I have almost rear ended several times cars that slam on the brakes and then signal while in the thru lane trying to break in line for the off ramp. Sometimes its so bad it looks like a double off ramp lane when it NOT!

Oh that's a good one. It also bothers me when someone lets that car (the one that pulls in at the last second) into the exit lane. Maybe if you left them assed out on the thru lane, they won't try to cut in front of everyone next time.
