I enjoy having multiple pairs of sunglasses to switch up styles now and then. I've got a couple of pairs from Ray Ban and a couple of pairs from Spy Optic, all polarized.

I have some damn Gucci pair somewhere that I never wear...I'm not a fan of sunglasses. It's weird for Arizona!

I had the same problem. I ended up resolving it by cutting an overhead projector transparency sheet to fit over the display of the radio.

The clarity issue is interesting. Do people notice that much of a difference? I guess I'm glad partial to Oakleys then, considering all major sports who use optics such as NHL and NFL players use them. Not to mention our armed forces who wear them while shooting down bad guys with pin point accuracy.

No problem. I saw a posting about it somewhere on Bimmerpost a few years ago and gave it a try, which worked out quite well.

I have Maui Jim titanium frameless for sport sunglasses - great optics and they are so light it feels like you aren't wearing anything.

Prada for casual wear.

I think he's upset about something else in his life, LOL.

They sell $5 polarized sunglasses in gas stations.

Good lenses are much more valuable than polarized vs. un-polarized. Polarization is mostly effective at reducing glare. Obviously they're going to be most effective on the water or near some sort of large reflective surface.

I know there are others who have way more sunglasses than me, but I own roughly $2000 worth of sunglasses and good lenses (polarized or not) are a much stronger consideration for me.

Prada and Gucci. I had one pair of Fendi aviators that my ex whipped at me I've lost everything when I moved. I have one pair of Prada left from 5 years ago. I just bought a pair of Spy Bodega's last month because we were going on vacation.

Believe it or not my current pair of Serengetis came from a small optical shop in front of the checkouts at Walmart. They had a nice selection. I bought them just before our trip to Europe in 2009. Same frames now with prescription glass.

sports get them from sponsors and stuff. for sports oakly isn't that bad though, durable and tight fitting.
Military and law enforcement get them cheap. They don't meet MIL spec. I use dedicated shooting glasses when I shoot. Or let me put it this way. I use shooting glasses doing tactics, and my Maui Jim's for qualification shooting. I shoot better with the Maui jims. seems alot clearer and comfortable.
