If he rented this out via himself, does anyone know if there would be a way future buyers to see that tons of people have taken this thing out for a day? I would be pissed if i purchased that car.

If the guy he rents it to wrecks it he's F'ed. Personal car insurance policies have an exclusion that applies to rental vehicles.

This WILL end badly.

It would not be a bad idea to buy a 2008 M3 for ~$40k and rent it out for $250/day. After 160 people, the car's been paid for. Maybe cap the driving limit to 60 miles/day too.

But you'll probably need to spend $ on new tires and transmission.
